Privacy Policy

This policy describes how FearNot Dev (“we”, “us”) handles information in the TipWell mobile app (bundle ID com.tipwell.app).

Who we are

TipWell is a tip calculator. We do not create accounts, and we do not run our own login or user database. Questions: fearnotdev@gmail.com.

Information stored on your device

TipWell keeps these preferences locally on your device:

• Dark mode
• Accent color
• Language

Bill amounts and tip calculations are used to show results on screen. We do not upload your bills to our servers. TipWell does not have its own backend.

Purchases

Optional TipWell Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to check whether Pro is active so we can hide ads. Apple, Google, and RevenueCat process purchase records under their own policies. We do not receive your full payment card number.

Advertising

Free users may see banner ads from Google AdMob (or a placeholder while ads are being configured). Ad networks may collect device identifiers, coarse location, and usage data to deliver and measure ads, subject to your device settings and their policies. Buying TipWell Pro removes the banner.

If we use tracking for personalized ads on iOS, the system App Tracking Transparency prompt will appear first. You can also limit ad tracking in your device settings.

Information we do not collect

• We do not require your name, email, or phone number to use the calculator.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use your tip calculations for advertising profiles of our own.

Third parties

• Apple App Store / Google Play — distribution and payments
• RevenueCat — purchase status for TipWell Pro
• Google AdMob — banner ads for free users, when enabled

Those companies process data under their privacy policies. We only use them as needed to run the app, ads, and purchases.

Children

TipWell is a general-audience utility. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, email fearnotdev@gmail.com and we will delete it if we have it.

Data retention and deletion

Local preferences stay on your device until you change them or uninstall the app. Purchase records are kept by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat as needed to honor your Pro unlock. To request help with purchase or data questions, email fearnotdev@gmail.com.

Your choices

• Use the calculator without creating an account.
• Restore or manage Pro through your store account.
• Reset advertising identifier / limit ad tracking in system settings.
• Uninstall the app to remove local preferences.

International users

If you use TipWell outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States by us or the third parties listed above.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of TipWell after an update means you accept the revised policy.
